Sketchy Thursdays 10.28


My first time ever using a bracket on a page! FUN FUN, will be trying this again! Love my cricut, which i used to cut it out with. Used Plantin Schoolbook and Simply Delightful paper from MME. LOVE their paper!! Thanks for stopping by to check out my take on the sketch!

Creative Scrappers #127


I love using black and pink combinations!!! I had so much fun with the circle in this layout!! This was taken outside Isle of Cari Casino in Booneville MO, where I went to gamble for the first time. I got ADDICTED!! Not to gambling, but to collecting the cards and zip cords that go along with them!! SO MUCH FUN!!! I have seriously added to my collection since then!

WOW!! It has been a crazy last few months! We have been super busy around here starting up our scrapbook store!! I finally got to sit down last night at our first crop and make some pages! Frosted Designs Recipe Challenge


Here is a list of the ingredients:
1. Punch or punches~ Small Hearts on corners of birth announcement
2. Felt
3. Ribbon~ Across the bottom of the birth announcement
4. Pink, blue or purple~ I chose to use blue
5. Flowers~Green bling flowers on each corner
6. Banner~My title background
7. Bird~Stork accent from New Arrival Cricut Cartridge
8. Buttons~On title banner
9. Butterflies
10.Glitter~I used glimmer mist in Sweet Clover and Autumn Nights to enchance the white background paper and make my accents pop.

I've had a very productive month!

As the end of the month draws near, I am stunned to realize that I have gotten 15 pages done this month! Gotta love Scrapping blogs and challenges to get you motivated to get some pages completed!!!!!

My own personal Challenge is to get double that: 30 Pages done in the month of May!

I know I can do it!!!!!!!

Design Dollies TRIFECTA

My first ever TRIFECTA!!! WhoooooHOOOOO! So exciting!
I used Kraft and Bright colors
Followed the recipe:
This week's recipe is to include:
1) 3 Different Patterned papers, SAME manufacturer if possible
2) A tag
3) An UNCOLORED stamped image
4) RED ribbon(s)
5) Something lime green
and used the sketch, although I did get some inspiration from Leah and turned the sketch on its side!!!!!

Boy was this challenging, but I had a blast using it!
Will definitely be doing the Trifecta again!!

Creative Scrappers Readers Reveal by Laura Whitaker

Design Dollies Elements Challenge

This challenge comes from the lovely ladies over at Design Dollies. This was my first challenge using a Recipe. Here were the instructions:

This week's recipe is to include:
1) 3 Different Patterned papers, SAME manufacturer if possible
2) A tag
3) An UNCOLORED stamped image
4) RED ribbon(s)
5) Something lime green

I chose:
1) DCWV blossoms and butterflies
2) the tag I cut out with my cricut using Plantin schoolbook
3) I stamped my flower with black ink and traced it with picket fence stickles.
4) I used red ribbon on the tag
5) I matted my pics with lime green paper.

I had so much fun with this challenge. Nothing like a little inspiration to help you complete some pages.

To create this page I used paper from little yellow bicycle, cut the white scrolls with my cricut using serenade cartridge, the navy blue cirlce frame is from Nicole Lombardo, the little flowers are jolee's by you, and the title is out of Doodlebug Design inc. sugar coated chipboard hopscotch alphabet.
